Head Coach Pat Lowrey enters his second season at Harrison and sixth season overall in which he owns an overall record of 101-82. Coach Lowrey, while at Delphi Community High School, was fortunate enough to lead the Oracles to 1 Hoosier Conference, 3 Sectional, 1 Regional and 1 Semi-State Championship. In 2010, Coach Lowrey's squad finished the season as the Class 2A State Runner's Up. In 2012, the Oracles were ranked #1 in the IHSBCA poll for the first time in school history. These team accomplishments helped earn Coach Lowrey the 2008 & 2010 Journal & Courier Small School and the 2010 Pharos Tribune Coach of the Year Honors. Coach Lowrey has coached two all-state players in his career as Kory Banes was selected to the first team after his senior season in 2008 while Austin Hawn was selected to the honorable mention all-state team after his junior season in 2010. Five of Coach Lowrey's players have went on to continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level (2008 Kyle Bender - Wabash College, 2008 Andrew Cebulla - Danville Area Community College, 2010 Tanner Cripe - Hanover College, 2011 Austin Hawn - Wabash College and 2012 Karson Bender - Purdue University). Coach Lowrey began his coaching career soon after college, including stops at Delta (2004), McCutcheon (2005), Harrison (2006-2007), and Delphi Community (2008-2012) High Schools. During Coach Lowrey's playing days, he led his alma mater to the Class 4A State Championship. Upon graduation, he accepted a scholarship to pitch for Ball State University where he helped lead the Cardinals to a MAC title in 2001 and MAC West titles in 2000, 2001 ad 2003. He and his wife, Lauren, have been married since June, 2005. They have two sons - Jeremy, age 6 and Brady, age 3. Lauren is a graduate of Munster High School where she played three sports and later went on to play volleyball at Ball State. The Lowreys are memebers of Lafayette St. Lawrence Church in Indiana.
