The Raiders got a rematch vs the only team to defeat them earlier this season, the Carmel Greyhounds. The best team from the South versus the best team from the North. After Carmel scored early off a set piece, the Raiders were able to answer and tie the game off an Adan Robles assist to Senior winger, Connor Lange. Shortly following Connor's goal, the Greyhounds were awarded a PK from a foul called in the box. Carmel capitalized on the PK to take a 2-1 halftime advantage. The game went back and forth in the 2nd half, but Carmel was able to find the net again to take a 2 goal advantage. The Raiders fought hard and created several opportunities late, but could not net on their opportunities. The Raiders ended their season 18-2-3 with their only 2 losses to the eventual state champions. Absolutely a phenomenal season and brilliant 2-year stretch by this senior class and these fellas!
