The Harrison Boys Cross Country team competed Saturday at the Athletic Annex Flashrock Race, facing one of the strongest fields of the season with multiple Top 15 teams in the State. The Raiders put together a strong team performance in both the Championship and JV races. Championship Race Harrison finished 4th as a team in the Championship Race with 128 points. The Raiders were led by a pair of outstanding performances from Alex King and Jacob Tilton. King finished 9th overall in 15:55.39, while Tilton followed closely behind in 12th place at 16:00.67. Both runners finished in the top 12 of a very competitive field. Jango Lane continued his strong season with a 16:25.73, finishing 27th overall. Morgen Weathers was next in 31st at 16:44.17, followed by Ryan Jordan in 49th at 17:03.45. Harrison's five scorers averaged approximately 16:25, with all five runners breaking 17:04. Strong JV Performance The Harrison JV team also had an impressive race, scoring 111 points and finished 4th place as well. Stewart Page and Fernando Samayoa-Lopez led the Raiders, finishing virtually together. Page ran 17:23.61 for 7th overall, while Samayoa-Lopez was 9th in 17:23.89. David Estep added a 17:51.37, followed by Jonah Towers at 18:03.17 and Eamon Dewitt at 18:18.85 to complete Harrison's scoring five. With the postseason getting closer, Harrison continues to build momentum with strong performances throughout the lineup.
